Designing a photo mug takes a few minutes: upload your favourite picture, add text and check the live 3D preview from every angle. We print at 300 dpi on dishwasher-safe ceramic, baked in rather than stuck on. One mug costs €14.99. We ship within Germany only.
Is the photo mug dishwasher safe?
Yes. The photo is sublimated into the mug’s coating rather than applied as a film on top of the glaze. The mug is dishwasher and microwave safe, and the print cannot peel or be scratched off. For the longest colour life we suggest the occasional hand wash and the top rack, but neither is required.
Porcelain or ceramic?
Our photo mug is glazed ceramic, not porcelain. Porcelain is thinner, lighter and more expensive; glazed ceramic is thicker, sturdier for daily use and keeps coffee warm a little longer. The material makes no difference to the print, which sits in the coating. The mug holds 325 ml, stands 95 mm tall and weighs about 320 g.

Common questions
What image quality do I need?
Ideally a photo at least 1000 pixels wide – the larger, the sharper the print. Photos from a current smartphone are more than enough.
Can I use several photos?
Yes, you can arrange multiple images as a collage anywhere on the mug.
Do you ship outside Germany?
No. We ship within Germany only, with UPS or DHL tracking.
